Why Bethelife is important:
I was only 6 years old when my grandma picked my cousin and I to take care of her while she was sick at the age of 83. Little did we know what to do. All we could do was to listen to her instructions. If she needed drinking water we took it to her.
I guess all she wanted was to be in the presence of her grand kids for a peace of mind until the good Lord took her away. That experience stuck with me to this day. When I decided to attend college, I chose Sociology. Soon, I realized a closely related course known as Gerontology was also thought at that university. It focuses on the elderly population. I had gone deeply in my studies in Sociology, I chose to do research in Gerontology. There, so much was discovered about the elderly population that reminded me about the story of Grandma in those formative years of mine.
As an adult, I have had over 20 years of experience working with the elderly from Tennessee to Texas. My passion and desire to work with this population knows no bounds. It is often said water is life, being reminded of that cup of water I gave to my grandma, today, in addition to that, as an agency we respond to your needs with a kinder, softer, compassionate and professional care to make each day brighter and better.
